Stanford Releases Open Source Software for Designing Sustainable Cities

Stanford Natural Capital Project has announced Urban InVEST, free and open source software for use by city planners, developers, and others to help visualize the effects of urban development.

The Urban InVEST data and modeling platform includes both biophysical and socioeconomic models for quantifying and mapping the impacts of urban designs.
