Bringing Linux eBPF to Windows

Microsoft has announced an open source project to make eBPF work on Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 and later, reports Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols.

Through the ebpf-for-windows project, Windows developers can use eBPF toolchains and APIs on top of existing versions of Windows. In this article, Vaughan-Nichols explains how this will work and why it is useful.
