Ford to Adopt Android in Millions of Cars

Ford has announced that it will use Google’s Android to power the infotainment systems in “millions” of its cars starting in 2023.

The implementation of Android will be “uniquely Ford and Lincoln,” and Ford will be swapping its current back-end provider, Blackberry’s QNX, for Android, a spokesperson said.
