Kaspersky researchers have detailed a file-encrypting Trojan called RansomEXX that attacks Linux machines.
RansomEXX has been a prevalent Windows threat for some time. What’s new, reports Davey Winder, is porting the ransomware to Linux and targeting Linux servers directly.
