Red Hat Expands Low-Cost Options to Research and Academia

Red Hat is expanding its low-cost offerings of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) to non-degree-granting entities, including research and academic-related organizations, reports Steven J. Vaughan-Nichols.

The organizations can use RHEL not just for research or classes but other purposes as well, such as running a web server or high-performance computing (HPC) environment.
