Solus Linux 4.2 Review

With the recent release of Solus 4.2, it seems like a good time to take a fresh look at this distro, says J.A. Watson at ZDNet.

Solus is also an independent distribution, built from scratch, meaning it is not derived from Debian, Ubuntu, or one of the other major distributions. ISO installation images are available on the Solus Download page, and there are four desktop versions available:

  • Budgie
  • Gnome
  • Mate
  • Plasma
