System76 Launches New Mechanical Keyboard

Colorado-based System76 has released the new fully customizable Launch Configurable Keyboard, which is engineered for maximum efficiency.

Designed to “place control back into your hands,” the Launch keyboard lets you remap keys, swap out keycaps, and configure multiple layers to suit your needs. You can select from “jade” switches for a definitive key click or “royal” switches for a muted clack and cycle through a range of LED patterns and colors.

The fully open source keyboard is compatible with Linux, Windows, and macOS and features a central USB-C port as well as two high-speed USB-C and USB-A ports. Pricing starts at US $285.
