CompTIA has developed a taxonomy of technology jobs — a framework that looks at three key elements of tech roles to help understand and map various careers regardless of your starting point.
One element of the taxonomy describes six major job families, says Seth Robinson, including:
- Support
- Infrastructure
- Software
- Cybersecurity
- Data
- Enablement
